Still red wine
Vineyard located in: Canneto Pavese.
Soil: the vineyard is located on a south-oriented hillside.
Grape: Pinot Noir (100%).
Vinification: we hand-harvest the clusters into small baskets, carefully selecting only the best ones. The grapes are then destemmed. After the pressing of the grapes, the must is left in contact with the skins for about 15 days and then is put in oak, where it ages for 12 months. Then, it ages in the bottle for additional 8 months.
Tasting notes: on the nose it reveals hints of withered rose, tobacco and spices. Warm, mellow palate with smooth and elegant tannins.
Pairing suggestions: it goes very well with lamb and pork meat dishes.
Service temperature: best served at 16 °C in a glass with a large bowl.
