Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese DOC

Semi-sparkling red wine

Vineyards located in: Solinga Valley, Canneto Pavese.

Soil: the vineyards are located on a south-oriented very steep sloping hillside.

Grape: Croatina (100%).

Vinification: the pressing of the grapes is followed by a short maceration period (4 to 5 days). Afterwards, the must is put in stainless steel tanks for a few months and then bottled. The finishing of the wine takes place in horizontally stored bottles.

Tasting notes: slightly sparkling wine; shining ruby colour with marked violet highlights. On the nose it is deep and complex with a strong cherry note. Slightly tannic on palate, it shows a medium body and a long finish.

Pairing suggestions: extremely food-friendly wine. It pairs very well with salami, pasta, red meats and medium ripened cheese.

Service temperature: best served at a 16 °C temperature in a tulip-shaped glass.

Available formats: 0,75 l bottle.
