We will present our wines at the tasting organised by Slow Food Oltrepò Pavese on the occasion of the presentation of the Slow Food Osterie d’Italia and Slow Wine 2017 guides. The event will take place on Sunday February 26th in Casteggio (PV) at the Certosa Cantù (via Circonvallazione Cantù 62) from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. 12 chefs of restaurants featured in the Osterie d’Italia 2017 guide will cook traditional food, offering the perfect paring for the wines.
Schedule of the day:
• 10:00 am:
presentation of the Slow Wine and Osterie d’Italia 2017 guides with Teresio Nardi (Slow Food Oltrepò Pavese delegate), Paolo Camozzi (Slow Wine Lombardia delegate) and Silvia Tropea Montagnosi (Osterie d’Italia editor). Speeches by Davide Fasolini (Dirupi winery, Valtellina), Claudia Crippa (La Costa winery, Terre Lariane) and Alessandro Cutolo (Marangona winery, Lugana);
• 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm:
tasting of more than 70 wines produced by wineries featured in the Slow Wine 2017 guide.
• 4:00 pm:
workshop led by Paolo Camozzi on the Metodo Classico sparkling wines produced by the historical La Versa winery. Guided tasting of bottles not disgorged (Jeroboam format).
Admittance by donation: all money will go to the people affected by the recent earthquakes in Italy.
