Here's a new event of the "I Venerdì di Corte Pavese" series at Palazzo Bellavista in Stradella (PV). Our Metodo Classico Brut Nature "Profilo" Vintage 1996 has won the "Bufala & Wine Wedding" challenge held in Milan at the "Enocratia" restaurant and wine-bar. Our Profilo thus entered the "Bufala & Wine Wedding" finals which will be held in Naples and which will crown the wine most suited for the perfect pairing with the Mozzarella di Bufala DOP cheese.

"Questa è una Bufala!" at Enocratia

The "Enocratia" wine bar & restaurant will host the "Bufala & Wine Wedding" tour, organized by the Consorzio di Tutela della Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP for choosing the best wine and Mozzarella di Bufala DOP pairing. Wine and food lovers, journalists and critics will vote for their favourite wine to pair with the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP cheese. The wines selected in each Italian region will reach the finals, which will take place in Naples.

During the evening, named "Questa è una Bufala!", our Metodo Classico Brut Nature "Profilo" 1996 and two Franciacorta DOCG will be paired to a special Mozzarella-based dish created by chef Eugenio Boer.

Our Rosso d'Asia 2006 and Buttafuoco "Bricco Riva Bianca" 2006 have been selected by wine journalist Massimo Zanichelli and renowned chef Enrico Bartolini of the Devero Restaurant for a special day at the Devero Hotel in Cavenago di Brianza (MB) featuring wine tastings and a gala dinner.

Our stand is the InOLTRE one. InOLTRE is an association of young wine producers from the Oltrepò Pavese region.

Coupled with the "Oltrevini" wine fair is another special event organized by the Consorzio di Tutela del Vino dell'Oltrepò Pavese. Two "OltreCentovini" special wine tastings of Oltrepò Pavese Pinot Nero will be held on September 3 at the Caveau d'Oltrepò, located at the Certosa Cantù in Casteggio (PV) .
